Sara Elizabeth Howell, 38, of Bloomington passed away on Thursday, July 13. She was born on July 8, 1985 in Bloomington. Sara was a graduate of Bloomington High School North and Earlham College. She was an exceptional athlete, setting high school and college records in the 400-meter dash. Sara displayed the same drive during her career. First as a Client Service Manager at Quotient Technology and most recently as co-owner and manager of T&T Pet Food and Supply in Bloomington. Sara was a dedicated animal lover, fostering and rescuing countless dogs and cats before adopting them into loving homes. Sara’s primary calling was as a totally devoted and loving mother of her six-year-old daughter Stella, who survives.
In addition to Stella, Sara is survived by her mother, Barbara Howell, and father, John Howell, both of Bloomington, and beloved friend and business partner Terry Hays. Sara is also survived by her brothers Justin Howell (Laura Sargent) and Brett Howell of Bloomington, and Wesley Howell (Leslie Chang) of San Rafael, California; two nephews, Harold Sargent-Howell and Everson Chang-Howell; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

James A. Ridge, 38, of Louisville KY, passed away at his residence on Saturday, April 15, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer.
James was born February 16, 1985, in Bloomington, IN. He is survived by his wife, Erica (Ward) Ridge; his daughter, Isaline Rose; his parents, Scott and Loretta (Lentz) Ridge, and Linda (Lucas) and Rick Hubbard; his brothers Timothy Ridge, Robert Ridge, Josh Evoy and Jared Hubbard, and his grandmother, Lorraine Ridge. He is preceded in death by his brother Bobby Evoy, his grandfather Ralph Ridge, and his grandmother Joy (Hodder) Eggers.
James graduated in 2003 from Bloomington High School North and earned an associate engineering degree from Ivy Tech and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University. James enjoyed brewing his own beer, traveling, volunteering his time in the community, and playing board games and Dungeon and Dragons but was the most passionate about spending time with his family. He will be sincerely missed - especially his quick wit and quirky sense of humor.

Joshua Wade Paul, 30, of Bloomington Indiana passed away on Sunday December 13, 2015.
Joshua was a man of many interests. He loved to read, travel, cook, play and watch tennis. He had an incredible sense of humor and embraced all of life's opportunities. He was a kind and loving husband, son, brother, and friend. He will be incredibly missed.
Joshua was born in Columbus, Indiana and grew up in Bloomington and Indianapolis Indiana. He graduated from Bloomington High School North and attended Wabash College with a degree in Psychology. During his time at Wabash he was on the tennis team, traveled to South Africa, and made lifelong friends. On August 9, 2008 Josh married Holly Burton of Dubois, Indiana. Following their wedding he graduated from Valparaiso University with a Master in Psychology and his MBA in 2015. Upon completing his masters he was the Executive Director of AccessAbilities, INC in Bloomington Indiana. His most recent position was at Meadows Hospital as Director of Development and Partial Hospital Programs. Joshua excelled in his advocacy for those who were suffering. His compassion and willingness to help others made him a leader in the community and helped push the boundaries to meet unmet needs in the community.
He is survived by his wife Holly Paul (Burton). Parents: Randy Paul and Linda Grove-Paul and Richard Flis. Siblings: Kate Paul(Sarah Paul), Kristi Paul(Billy Snyder), Jackie Paul(Evan Niner), Megan Stahly-Paul (Wil Stahly), Samantha Paul(Franz Hubner). He was preceded in death by his mom Jane Flis and grandparents Dave and Joan Burt.

He attended Bloomington High School North and enlisted in the United States Army and reported for active duty on February 7, 2003. He served 51/2 years as a military policeman. He served one 15-month tour in Afghanistan and three years in Germany with the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He was PROUD to serve his country. Most recently, he was employed by American Rental of Bloomington and Lithonia Lighting of Crawfordsville.
Ronson loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed sharing his love of being outdoors with his daughters.
Ronson is survived by his wife, Lorrene (Schefke) Eads; two daughters, Dakota Leaaryn Eads age 6 and Haley Jean Eads age 5; his parents, Ronald and Linda Eads; father- and mother-in-law, Joseph and Margie Schefke, brothers, Ronald (Tammy) Eads Jr. of Sanders, Rob (Liz) Covey of Bloomington; 4 sisters, Ronita (Kevin) Walcott, Ronda Johnson, Ronessa (Mike) Lenning, all of Bloomington, and Ronica (Jason) Walcott of Spencer.

Cassaundra Dawn Johansen, 26, of Bloomington passed away on Monday September 12, 2011 from complications of pneumonia. Born April 17, 1985 in Merritt Island, Florida, she was the daughter of Tara Bazler and Eric Peters. Cassaundra worked at Hoosier Liquors and Vegastylista’s Foxhole: Makeup Studio and Artistic Hair Design. Cassaundra was a graduate of Bloomington High School North. She loved music, animals, and spending time with her friends. Her smile and style lit up the world of those that knew her.
Survivors include her husband Paul Klaiber, mother Tara Noelle Bazler, father Eric Peters and sister Siarra Brielle Bazler all of Bloomington, grandmother Priscilla Bazler of Lafayette, grandparents Jim and Jan Peters of Greenfield, and many friends who love her. She was preceded in death by her grandfather William Bazler and uncle Brad Bazler.
John C. "Bo" Cantwell II, 16, of Bloomington, who was a black belt in tae kwon do, died Saturday, July 7, 2001, at Bloomington Hospital. The Bloomington native was a two-year member of the Bloomington North High School golf team. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowboarding, and the Indianapolis Colts. Surviving are his parents, John C. and Margarete; grandmothers Mary Cantwell of Rome City and Nancy Anne Purnell of Homewood, Ill.; and a great-grandmother, Mae Purnell of Kenora, Ontario, Canada.
